ABout more than a bout Campaign

Kansas City Guns N’ Hoses is more than a night of boxing. It’s an annual charity event where local police officers, firefighters, and EMTs step into the ring to raise money for the families of fallen first responders. We wanted the campaign to reflect that bigger purpose: these people put their lives on the line every day, and we’re in their corner.

The “About More Than a Bout” campaign became a visual expression of that idea, shifting the focus from the fight itself to the people and purpose behind it.

The art direction draws directly from the world of boxing, using ring ropes as a graphic device to create movement, depth, and structure throughout the composition. This isn’t just about who wins the bout. It’s about showing up, standing behind our first responders, and being in their corner.
