A Little about me…
Hey there! I’m Ella Matthys — an art director fueled by bold ideas, eye-catching design, and a serious love for coffee. I’m currently a senior studying Advertising at Marquette University, with minors in Public Relations and Graphic Design
I’m all about bringing ideas to life through thoughtful visuals and storytelling. Whether I’m sketching out a concept or building a full campaign, I aim to create work that feels fresh, fun, and genuinely connects with people.
When I’m not designing, you’ll find me exploring new cities, snapping photos, and scouting out the best local coffee spots. Always chasing inspiration wherever it leads.
A little about my passion:
I’ve been creating art for as long as I can remember, starting with sketchbooks and crayons, then discovering digital design in high school, and never looking back. Since then, I’ve brought ideas to life through countless pieces of art and ad campaigns, especially during internships where I’ve worked with a variety of clients.
What drives me most is the chance to create meaningful work and meaningful connections. I take pride in what I do and even more in the relationships I’ve built and continue to build with other creatives along the way. I believe great work comes from collaboration, curiosity, and having a little fun in the process.
Take a look around my portfolio, and reach out if you have questions, ideas, or just want to say hi!
